Ukrainians explained why fuel is getting more expensive and what to expect from prices in the near future

It looks like there won't be a price reduction.

Motorists were told which there may be prices for gasoline, diesel fuel and autogas in Ukraine in the near future, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to TSN.

Thus, the president of the association «Association of Ukrainian Oil Products Market Operators» Leonid Kosyanchuk mentions state regulation of fuel prices among the reasons for the global rise in fuel prices. Like, the more they compress the spring, the more it tries to shoot.

«Now the Ministry of Economy sets price limits for premium chains. And from «premium» networking is already repelled by everything else. Together, this creates the effect of a total rise in prices.

We must understand that our pricing depends on many factors, in particular, on inflation expectations. This is an objective process that encourages people to include inflationary risks in their expenses», said Kosyanchuk.

It is noted that Kosyanchuk is not ready to make forecasts for the near future. But I am sure that there will be no real price drop under any circumstances.

The expert believes that now Ukraine can only state and respond to troubles as they come. He also added that a real collapse in the Ukrainian oil products market could begin if the idea of a ban on oil products from Belarus is implemented.

However, as Ukrainians have seen more than once, fuel prices always rise easily and fall reluctantly . The head of the Bureau of Comprehensive Analysis and Forecasts, Serhiy Dyachenko, believes that one should not count on the easing of pressure from the aggressor, so the Ukrainian markets will be in a fever for a long time.

«I think that the pre-crisis price level is no longer will return. Traders get used to income very quickly, they say, if people pay, then why lower it. If Ukraine had sufficient market reserves, as, for example, in the United States, it would be possible to intervene in the market and support it. But Ukraine does not have such reserves of fuel. Therefore, the state will not be able to actively intervene and will float at the rate», Dyachenko noted.
