On Sunday, Russian skiers Alexei Chervotkin, Alexander Bolshunov, Denis Spitsov and Sergey Ustyugov won gold medals in the 4×10 km relay. The Russian team for the first time in its history became the winner in this discipline at the Olympic Games. At the moment, the Russian team has 14 medals: four gold, four silver and six bronze. The Chinese team (4-3-1) dropped to eighth place. The German national team (8-5-1) is in the lead in the medal standings, the Norwegian team is in second place (8-4-6), and the United States is in third (5-5-1).
