Earlier, 15 American F-15 fighters were redeployed to Poland as part of the NATOAirPolicing mission.Finland purchased American F-35 fighters»Another American F-15 fighter landed today at the Laska airbase. Eight aircraft will join those that arrived in Poland last week. As part of the NATOAirPolicing mission, we we care about security in the region,» Blaszczak wrote on Twitter. NATOAirPolicing is a peacetime mission. Its purpose is declared as ensuring the security of the airspace of the North Atlantic Alliance. The NATOAirPolicing mission assumes the constant presence of fighter aircraft and crews ready to respond quickly to possible airspace violations. Currently, the US and the UK are deploying an additional 1,700 and 350 soldiers, respectively, to Poland.
