The public broadcaster received an appeal from activist Sergei Sternenko and other citizens to reconsider Alina Pash's entry into Crimea in 2015. Representatives of the organizing committee decided to directly clarify all the circumstances with the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Channel 24.
On Monday, February 14, Sternenko said that he had every reason to assert that Alina Pash's document had been forged regarding her land border crossing with Crimea. The blogger emphasized that he and his sources are convinced that the certificate is a fake, since the artist crossed the border from the territory of the occupying state with the help of Russian airlines, and not by bus, as Pash recently said.
Sternenko demanded that The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine checked the document and issued a statement about the falsification of the «certificate», since the falsification of documents is a criminal offense.
Alina Pash's participation in Eurovision is under threat
Suspіlne almost immediately reacted to such a statement and has already applied to the State Border Guard Service to verify the certificate provided by the Alina Pash team.
In connection with the information received from citizens about the possible forgery of the certificate on crossing the border with Crimea by the Alina Pash team, Public the broadcaster addresses the State Border Guard Service and asks to confirm or refute the fact of forgery of a civil service document,

Representatives of the broadcaster added that Suspіlne will not sign an agreement on participation in the international Eurovision Song Contest with the winner of the National Selection until the verification and clarification of the facts is completed.
