The public broadcaster will receive an official response tomorrow at 11:00.
Suspіlny Board Chairman Nikolai Chernotitsky thanked the GNSU for the official consideration of the request for falsification of the certificate provided by Alina Pash. In his opinion, scammers cannot represent Ukraine at Eurovision, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Channel 24.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine stated that Alina Pash did not provide a certificate of entry into Crimea. So, the document that came from her representative to Suspіlny is a fake.
Nikolai Chernotitsky's reaction
Nikolai thanked the GNSU for the prompt consideration of the appeal. He also added that the Suspіlny broadcaster will receive an official answer tomorrow at 11:00.
After that, the organizing committee of the Eurovision will meet for a meeting, where Alina Pash will be invited and make an appropriate decision.
Separately as chairman of the board I will contact law enforcement agencies regarding the provision of forged documents. In my opinion, scammers cannot represent Ukraine at Eurovision,
— said Chernotitsky.
The manager Alina Pash approached the representatives of Suspіlny and stated that they received a certificate of the singer's entry into Crimea from a member of the team, and not personally from the singer. According to the manager, now the team is figuring out how they received this document and are waiting for a response from the GNSU to the request.
Pay attention! Alina Pash may be disqualified from the Eurovision Song Contest for forging a document. It is also possible to open criminal proceedings, because forgery of documents is punishable by law.
