The authors of the initiative explained that the lack of a concept political advertising has led to the fact that it is possible only in the form of election campaigning, in the case of the participation of a political party in the relevant elections. This means that parties can only use outdoor advertising and Internet advertising for a certain period of time, which is on average 2-3 months during the year for the period of the election campaign. «In the period before and during the election campaign, information that includes information about political parties and other electoral associations, individual political figures, which does not contain signs of election campaigning, is allowed to be placed on advertising structures on the terms of social advertising,» the accompanying materials say. Outside of the campaign period, political advertising on the Internet is also prohibited.
