The Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov allowed to place a light projection with the image of the writer Daniil Kharms on the facade of the house on Mayakovsky Street, where the graffiti dedicated to him was previously located, which they demanded to be painted over. “Projection equipment has already been installed on the lighting pole and connected to the existing network; necessary commissioning. The light installation will replace the existing street art on a full-fledged basis after the preparation of the wall of the building,” the message says.
The light projection was developed by Lensvet specialists together with the Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture on behalf of Beglov. The projection equipment will work together with the city lighting system.
In October last year, the court demanded to paint over the graffiti with the image of Kharms, which appeared on the house 11 «A» on Mayakovsky Street in 2016. It was painted by artists Pasha Kas and Pavel Mokic.
