Russian curlers took eighth place at the Beijing Olympics

BEIJING, Feb 17 round-robin tournament at the Olympic Games in Beijing. The Russians won four victories in nine matches and could not get into the playoffs. 10 teams took part in the round-robin tournament. In the semifinal matches, the UK team will play with the US team, the Swedish team with the Canadian team. Sergey Glukhov (skip), Dmitry Mironov, Anton Kalalb, Evgeny Klimov and Daniil were part of the Russian team at the Games in Beijing Goryachev (substitute). In 2018, the Russian men's team did not take part in the Pyeongchang Olympics.
