MOSCOW, February 19 Russian Zaur Abdullaev defeated Venezuelan Jorge Linares and defended the World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver belt in the weight category up to 61.23 kg. The 12-round fight for the title of contender for the WBC world title, which took place in Yekaterinburg, ended with Abdullaev's victory by technical knockout in the 12th round.
