Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, speaking at the Munich conference on security, said that Ukraine's accession to NATO is not on the agenda and will not happen in the foreseeable future.
"Most Ukrainians want Ukraine to become a member of NATO. The only signal we send to the world is that if Ukraine succeeds and Russia retreats, it will be much safer for the entire democratic world", Kuleba said in an interview with the American television channel CBS.
He noted that Ukraine does not intend to «give up ambitions» to join NATO. According to the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, a number of countries sent signals about the need to take a less hard line on this issue. «Such a message came from several European members of NATO,» Kuleba said, adding that the United States did not urge Ukraine to abandon the idea of joining the alliance.< img src="/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/65d3e52a61b14b95fa401ab02eca9a85.jpg" />Russia's demand for NATO was justified in the EUPosted by: Nikita Stoma
