MOSCOW, Feb. 22 Representative of the International Ski Federation (FIS) Pierre Miniere responded to criticism of the organization by the head coach of the Russian skiing team Yuri Borodavko. As the official noted, no one pressured the FIS when deciding to reduce the Olympic marathon to 28 kilometers. «This decision was not the result of pressure on us from Norway or anyone else. We independently orientated ourselves according to the situation, based on weather conditions,» he told NRK.
