MOSCOW, Feb. 22 New York Islanders Russian goalie Semyon Varlamov withdrawn from the National Hockey League (NHL) protocol for combating coronavirus, according to the club's website. The goaltender was included on February 12 and missed three games. After being removed from the protocol, he took part in the team's training session on Monday. Team head coach Barry Trotz noted that Varlamov will remain on the bench in the next meeting. Varlamov is 33 years old. In the current NHL season, he has played 14 games (three wins), reflecting 91.6% of shots.
