Deputies of the State Duma voted for the ratification of «friendship and cooperation agreements» with the DNR and LNR. The broadcast was conducted on the YouTube channel of the lower house.
In the case of each agreement, the deputies voted three times, adding amendments to the texts of the agreements about their imminent entry into force.
In the final vote «for » 399 and 400 deputies voted; there were no abstentions and no opponents.
At the same time, in one of the interim votes on the agreement with the DPR, there was one “against” vote. It was the communist Oleg Smolin. At the meeting, he explained this by saying that “during the voting he hit the touch screen”, and “asked to record that he voted “for” on all issues.”
