The resolution of the upper house of the Russian Parliament comes into force from the moment of its adoption.
< p> The Federation Council of the Russian Federation gave permission to President Vladimir Putin to use Russian troops abroad, including in ORDLO. This decision was supported by 153 senators. At the same time, their number, regions of residence, terms and tasks facing them are determined by the head of state.
The resolution of the upper house of the Russian parliament enters into force from the moment it is adopted. The document was signed by Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko.
Recall that on the eve of Putin asked the Federation Council to allow the use of the Russian army abroad. This happened the day after he signed a decree recognizing the so-called Donetsk and Lugansk «People's Republics».
Initially, the meeting of the Federation Council on this issue was supposed to be held behind closed doors. However, at the last moment it was made open.
