MOSCOW, February 22 Italian Fiorentina may terminate the contract with forward Alexander Kokorin due to the lack of offers for the Russian footballer on the transfer market, Sport Mediaset reports. According to the source, the Violets hoped to receive an offer to buy Kokorin from one of the Russian clubs, but no requests were received. It is noted that due to the closing of the transfer window in Russia on Tuesday, Fiorentina will specifically consider terminating the agreement with the athlete. Kokorin moved to Fiorentina from Spartak Moscow in January 2021. This season, the 30-year-old Russian has played six matches in the Florentine club. The last time he entered the field was on January 10 in a Serie A game against Torino (0:4).
