Certification of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline has been stopped.

The reason why the certification cannot be continued was reported by the Federal Grid Agency of Germany to TASS.
«Certification of the Nord Stream-2 operator needs a positive according to the Ministry of Economy», — reported there, noting that the department should come to the conclusion that «there is no threat to the security of supply».
«There is none yet. The Federal Grid Agency is currently unable to certify the company. Operation of the pipeline without certification would be illegal», — the representative of the agency emphasized.
