MOSCOW, Feb. 23 Spanish figure skater Laura Barquero could have ingested a banned drug through a cream to heal cuts between her fingers from skate blades, according to Marca. On Tuesday, the International Testing Agency (ITA) reported that Barquero's doping test, which she passed during the Beijing Olympics, was positive. A banned metabolite of clostebol was found in a sample taken on February 18 after the short program in pairs competition. It was previously reported that the case would be referred to the Anti-Doping Division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS ADD) for a ruling in accordance with the Anti-Doping Rules of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
