Russia regrets that Kyiv severed relations with Moscow, said the Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW, Feb. 25 Moscow regrets that Kyiv broke off diplomatic relations, but hopes that «history will sort things out into their places,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Friday. “We deeply regret that the Kyiv regime has chosen such a course to break all types of relations with Russia. We hope that history will soon put everything in its place and believe in the centuries-old wisdom of Ukrainian and Russian peoples who have inhabited the territory of modern Ukraine for centuries,» Zakharova said at a briefing.
