Foreigners form a separate unit — International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine.
On the fourth day of Russia's war against Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the creation of the International Legion. This is a separate unit for foreign volunteers who want to defend Ukraine voluntarily, including in the ranks of the Territorial Defense Forces.
«In this regard, all foreigners who wish to join the resistance to the Russian invaders and the protection of world security, the leadership of Ukraine offers to come to our state and replenish the ranks of the Territorial Defense Forces. A separate division is formed from foreigners — International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine», — Zelensky noted.
To enroll in the International Legion, you need to contact the defense attache of the Ukrainian embassy in the corresponding state.
