File photoMOSCOW, Feb 28Cyprus is closing air links with Russia, according to a notice to flight crew posted on the Cyprus Civil Aviation Authority website. «All aircraft owned, chartered, operated or otherwise controlled citizens of the Russian Federation and all operators who have Russian aircraft operator certificates are prohibited from entering, departing from or flying through the airspace of Cyprus,» the message says. The exceptions are emergency landings, humanitarian flights, search and rescue flights and return flights for leased aircraft subject to the permission of the Cypriot authorities.Situation development is in the online report >>
