The Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design has suspended work for an «indefinite period» due to hostilities in Ukraine. The institute's team told about this in a mailing list for subscribers.
“We consider it unacceptable to continue our usual activities while hostilities are going on in Ukraine and people are dying. Since the Institute was founded, our work has been dedicated to cities, their development and shaping their future. We still believe in this mission, but the world is needed right now to talk productively about the future,” the mailing says.
The institute team noted that «the only truly important task now» is to end the war. «"Arrow" I stand in solidarity with everyone who calls for an immediate end to this armed conflict,” the letter ends.
