Roskomnadzor, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, blocked the websites «Rain» and «Echo of Moscow». The department's release was published on the Telegram channel of the Prosecutor General's Office, judging by the GlobalCheck service, access to the sites is already limited.
As noted in the department, the websites of the TV channel and radio station posted information «with calls for extremist activity, violence, as well as deliberately false information regarding the actions of Russian military personnel as part of a special operation to protect the DPR and LPR.» They also called for «massive violations of public order and public safety,» the Prosecutor General's Office added.
According to GlobalCheck, almost all operators have already blocked the sites of Dozhd and Ekho Moskvy.
