MOSCOW, March 5 Head of the Sambo-70 Education Center Renat Laishev said that figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze was not going to move from Russia to the United States. Earlier, amid the aggravation of the situation in Ukraine, Russian figure skaters were suspended from competitions under the auspices of the International Skating Union (ISU).
"Can Tutberidze emigrate in USA? No. Eteri Georgievna is our man, it’s impossible to imagine the option of emigration", Sport24 quotes Laishev.
From 1994 to 1998, Tutberidze worked as a coach in the United States.
