Russia's application will not be considered due to UEFA sanctions. In February, the UK and Ireland withdrew their bids to host the 2030 World Cup. The bidding process should run until September 2023, but if there is only one bidder to host the tournament, it will be completed much earlier, the newspaper claims. By March 23, interested parties must express their intention to submit an application.
