MOSCOW, 7 Mar. Skier Alexander Bolshunov became the winner of the Demino marathon in the classic style, which took place in Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region. Bolshunov covered a distance of 25 kilometers in 1 hour 2 minutes 44 seconds. The second place was taken by Nikita Khabarov (lag — 59 seconds), the third — by Artem Nikolaev (+1.01). The best result among women was shown by Aliya Iksanova. Also in the top three were Svetlana Zaborskaya and Rada Tarasenko. At the Olympic Games in Beijing, Bolshunov won five awards — three gold (skiathlon, mass start, relay), silver (separate start race) and bronze (team sprint).
