MOSCOW, Mar 7 Olympic pole vault champion Swede Armand Duplantis set a world record at the Serbian Open Indoor Championships in Belgrade. Duplantis on the third attempt took the bar at a height of 6 meters 19 centimeters, surpassing his own previous achievement by 1 cm. Shved also holds the world outdoor record — 6.15 m. Duplantis installed it on September 17, 2020 in Rome. At the Tokyo Olympics, he won with a score of 6 meters 2 centimeters.
