MOSCOW, March 8 Former Lokomotiv Moscow coach Sergey Mandreko died in age 50, according to the official website of the Austrian football club «Rapid». Mandreko passed away on March 8. In 2017, he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Mandreko worked as an assistant to the head coach of Lokomotiv in 2008-2009. As part of Rapid, Mandreko played from 1992 to 1997, scoring 19 goals in 128 matches, became the champion of Austria and the owner of the Cup of the country, and also reached the final of the Cup Winners' Cup UEFA 1996. As a football player, Mandreko also performed in Tajikistan, Germany and Austria. At the international level, he played 4 matches for the CIS team, 1 match for the Russian team and 1 match for the Tajik team.
