MOSCOW, March 8 Russian figure skaters representing Georgia arrived in Bergamo, Italy to prepare for the World Championships. Earlier, the International Skating Union (ISU), against the backdrop of events in Ukraine, excluded athletes from Russia and Belarus from competitions under its auspices. Petersburg Anastasia Gubanova and Maurice Kvitelashvili from Moscow. Both skaters have previously competed for Russia, Gubanova has been representing Georgia since 2021, Kvitelashvili since 2016. The World Figure Skating Championships will be held in French Montpellier on March 23-26.
