LONDON, Mar 10 The UK has issued a license to Chelsea London to play football the club, whose owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned, could continue playing this season, the British Foreign Office said in a statement. The United Kingdom authorities on Thursday imposed sanctions against seven Russian businessmen, including Abramovich. They will be banned from entering the UK and their assets in the country will be frozen. Earlier, Abramovich handed over the management of Chelsea to the trustees of a charitable foundation.
