European Union chief of diplomacy Josep Borrell believes that the EU has almost reached the limit regarding the imposition of sanctions against Russia. According to him, these measures have affected the Russian economy.
Borrell recalled that the EU has already introduced a package of sanctions against Russia after its invasion of Ukraine . The last one was announced on Wednesday.
«These sanctions are «bad» influence the Russian economy», — said the diplomat.
He added that the EU cannot do more, since many countries import gas and oil from Russia, in connection with this, the EU cannot yet declare an embargo, as the United States did.
