The US does not have or operate any chemical or biological laboratories in Ukraine. In full compliance with its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and the Biological Weapons Convention, the United States does not develop or possess such weapons anywhere. >The State Department, in turn, accused the Russian side of having «active military-chemical and military-biological programs.» In Russia, such accusations have been repeatedly denied.

Against the backdrop of hostilities in a large number of cities and villages in Ukraine, a humanitarian catastrophe is emerging. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation lays responsibility for this on the Kiev authorities, who refuse to coordinate the work of humanitarian corridors, as well as local nationalists, in some cases, according to the military department, holding civilians as human shields.
