One of the largest investment banks in the world, JP Morgan Chase (USA), announced that it would stop operations in Russia amid the situation around Ukraine, the portal reports Axios, citing a statement from the bank. Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the American banking and investment giant Goldman Sachs Group Inc. will end all its operations in Russia and may become the first major Wall Street bank to do so.
"In accordance with guidance from governments around the world, we are actively winding down business in Russia and not conducting new operations in Russia&# 34;, — quotes the bank's statement from the portal.
JP Morgan Chase investment bank was founded in 1799. It is one of the world leaders in providing investment banking services and trust management. The bank currently operates in more than 60 countries.
