MOSCOW, March 12 Silver medalists of the Russian ice dancing championship Diana Davis and Gleb Smolkin will not take part in the First Channel Cup in Saransk. The tournament will be held from 24 to 27 March. As part of the competition, a jumping festival and a team tournament are planned, where two teams will compete for prizes, as well as demonstration performances. «We will not be able to come to the Channel One Cup this year,» Davis wrote on Instagram. Earlier it became known that The dance duet Elizaveta Khudaiberdiyeva and Yegor Bazin will not perform on Channel One. Against the backdrop of events in Ukraine, the International Skating Union (ISU) decided to exclude Russian and Belarusian skaters from the participants of the World Championship, which will be held in Montpellier (France) on March 23-26.
