
MOSCOW, March 14 Rostov-Don handball player Anna Vyakhireva Tuesday may resume her career in the championship match of Russia against CSKA Moscow, according to the official website of the Rostov club. Vyakhireva announced that she intends to suspend her career after the end of the Tokyo Olympics. The Russian team won silver medals at the Games. The athlete resumed training a few months ago. The Olympic champion of the Games in Rio de Janeiro Vyakhireva has been playing for Rostov-Don since 2016. Anna won bronze at the 2019 World Championships and silver at the 2018 European Championships as part of the national team. At the club level, Vyakhireva won the Russian Championship 5 times. The CSKA-Rostov-Don match will take place on March 15 in Moscow.
