MOSCOW, March 14 Russian swimmer Anna Egorova openly spoke about the difficult period in career and team change.
"Behind that smile were everyday tears! For quite a long time now I have been struggling with panic attacks caused by training stress, I constantly wanted to cry, training was very difficult, because it was just scary to jump into the water, and the motivation was slowly disappearing. Unfortunately, the team did not believe me, and I had to listen to insults and keep silent. I decided to leave the team in which I trained for seven years. I am grateful for all my results and medals, it was an invaluable experience. Now I need a change, I have to find a solution to feel better psychologically. I have to find my old self again",” Egorova wrote on Instagram.
