MOSCOW, Mar 15 UK imposes sanctions over Russian special operation in Ukraine in relation to the Russian racer Nikita Mazepin, follows from a document published by the British government. Also, Mazepin was previously included in the sanctions list of the European Union. In March, the Formula 1 team Haas announced the termination of cooperation with Mazepin and the title sponsor, the Russian company Uralkali. Among the 935 people on the UK sanctions list are also the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture and Sports, the Olympic champion in biathlon Anton Shipulin and Olympic champion in speed skating, first deputy head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Svetlana Zhurova. Sanctions involve freezing assets in Britain and a ban on entry into the country.
