The President of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), Luc Tardif, said that the former head of the organization, Rene Fasel, probably denies the start of cooperation with the KHL. Earlier, the KHL press service reported that Fasel would be actively involved in solving strategic issues of the league development, using his vast experience and expert opinion in hockey. «Probably Fasel denies it,» Tardif replied to a question about the IIHF's attitude towards the former president's cooperation with the KHL. Fasel has not been available for comment on his possible work with the KHL for the past three days.
