St. Petersburg, 18 Mar. Hockey players of Spartak Moscow defeated SKA St. Petersburg in the first match of the KHL Western Conference semi-final series. Egor Savikov (6th minute), Ivan Drozdov (16), Andrey Loktionov (20), Alexander Khokhlachev (29), Sergey Shirokov (58) and Alexander Nikishin (60) scored at Spartak. Stepan Falkovsky (28) scored for SKA. The second match of the series up to four wins will take place on Sunday in St. Petersburg. In the first round of the playoff series, SKA beat Dynamo Minsk 4-0. Spartak automatically passed the first round due to the withdrawal of the Finnish Jokerit.
