The professor emphasized that the arrival of European politicians was just a political gesture that could not change the real state of affairs and did not pursue such goals. «This visit could stop the fighting only if these prime ministers, after conversations with Kiev, began to negotiations with Moscow. Then the gesture would have turned into a contribution to peace. But Prague abandoned the position of a negotiator a few months ago. And Kiev should not forget that, in addition to questions about the eastern border of Ukraine, someone can raise the issue of the western border, » Kreychi warned. At the same time, the political scientist did not specify who, in his opinion, could make territorial claims to Western Ukraine.
