According to the document, the journalist published a post on VKontakte, which contained «deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to destroy civilian infrastructure and the civilian population of Ukraine during a special military operation.

Earlier today it became known that Novashov had been searched.
On March 16, the Investigative Committee reported that the first criminal cases in the country under the new article 207.3 of the Criminal Code were initiated against two residents of the Tomsk region. On the same day, the author of cookbooks and blogger Veronika Belotserkovskaya became a defendant in another such case.
