Assange's supporters joyfully greeted Maurice while she posed for photographers in a light gray wedding dress from Vivienne Westwood. Maurice, with two children, is accompanied by a small group of family members and friends — only four guests and two witnesses, as well as two security guards, are allowed into the ceremony. Stella Maurice is expected to cut the wedding cake and deliver a speech after the end of the wedding ceremony, which is scheduled for 13.00 (16.00 Moscow time). On December 10, 2021, the High Court of London granted the US appeal against a previous decision banning the extradition of Assange, the court granted the guarantees that the US provided British side. The hearing was limited to the question of whether the London Central Criminal Court judge was incorrect in her judgment that Assange would commit suicide if extradited to the US. The court granted the US appeal and ruled that the case should go to Westminster Magistrates' Court with instructions for the District Judge to refer the case to the Minister of State, who will decide whether Assange should be extradited to the US.
