MOSCOW, Mar 23 The expulsion of a significant part of Russian diplomats from Poland may lead to a rupture of diplomatic relations between countries, Adalbi Shkhagoshev, a member of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, told RIA Novosti. The Polish Internal Security Agency (ABW) prepared a list of 45 Russian diplomats suspected of espionage and demanded their expulsion, the press secretary of the minister coordinating the special services told reporters earlier Stanislav Zharin of Poland. «Out of 60 diplomats, relatively speaking, the expulsion of 40-45 of them leads to a diplomatic break in relations between countries,» the MP stressed. As the parliamentarian added, if Poland accuses diplomats of espionage, then the country must provide serious evidence of this. The politician noted that Russia will be guided by the principle of symmetry in the issue of response measures. According to information on the website of the Russian Embassy in Warsaw, at the moment the diplomatic staff of the Russian Federation in the republic includes about 60 people.
