Musicians consider it unacceptable to have a letter in the name that has become a symbol of Russia's bloody war against Ukraine.
The letter Z, with which Russian troops mark their equipment, has become a symbol of aggression and death, so the Ukrainian musicians, in whose band names it was, decided to get rid of it. The first to report a change in the spelling of their name were the members of the group «Without border», reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Focus.

The letter Z on Russian vehicles became the subject of a whole investigation. The fact is that even in the regions of the Russian Federation, no one understands what the letters Z and V stand for on the military equipment of the invaders. Local officials answered journalists with learned phrases, such as «The task will be completed» and «Strength in Truth». One of the journalists in the Russian republic of Khakassia suggested that Z could be a reference to the German word Zeit («time»). Investigators «Medusa» found out that this was the idea of the PR block of the Russian Defense Ministry, headed by Andrey Ilnitsky, adviser to Minister Sergei Shoigu. The PR unit of the Russian Defense Ministry worked together with the propagandists of the Russian RT channel and its editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan, a source close to the Kremlin indicated.
