MOSCOW, Mar 23 Undefeated Ukrainian MMA fighter Yaroslav Amosov will not defend the Bellator welterweight title in May due to the situation in Ukraine, according to the official website of the promotion. Amosov was supposed to defend his title in a duel against Briton Michael Page on May 13 at Bellator 281 in London. The 28-year-old Ukrainian will be replaced by American Logan Storley, who, if he wins, will become the owner of a temporary welterweight belt. Amosov won 26 victories in 26 fights. In June 2021, the fighter became the new Bellator Welterweight Champion by defeating Brazilian Douglas Lima via unanimous decision. In the fight with Page, he had to defend the title for the first time.
