The magistrate of court district No. 40 of the Admiralteisky district in St. Petersburg appointed 180 hours of mandatory work for model Irina Volkova in the case of a photograph near St. Isaac's Cathedral. This was reported by the press service of the city courts.

Volkova was found guilty of insulting the feelings of believers (Part 1 of Article 148 of the Criminal Code). The reason was the publication with a photograph in which she squats against the backdrop of St. Isaac's Cathedral with her skirt pulled up. According to a press release, she is also charged with an episode with a similar video.
In December, the court refused to choose a measure of restraint for the model, since the investigator's arguments were «presumptuous.» During the meeting, unnamed witnesses claimed that Volkova «offended them, the authorities, the church, the state and society with her bare buttocks.»
