Honorary President of the Russian Football Union (RFU) ) Vyacheslav Koloskov said that, in his opinion, a regulatory document is needed that will regulate payments to intermediaries in Russian football. On Tuesday, the RFU on the official website published the data of the commission on working with intermediaries. The total amount of remuneration paid to intermediaries from players and clubs in 2021 amounted to 1.11 billion rubles, 143.5 thousand dollars, 23.38 million euros.
"The figure of a billion rubles for agents is shocking! The bad thing is that they are really paid a lot, there are no regulatory documents, and there are absolutely incomprehensible people among the intermediaries. In my understanding, we need a clear and strict regulation that will oversee this issue. The order will be only with such documents. Now clubs pay as much as they see fit. Unfortunately, there are such intermediaries everywhere: in agriculture, sports, industry, and so on, and where they just don’t exist", Koloskov said.
