MOSCOW, Mar 29 Russian authorities are preparing another package of counter-sanctions, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with deputies of the Communist Party faction in the State Duma on the eve of the government's report in parliament.
"You know that another package of counter-sanctions is being prepared now. We hope that your faction will also approach its discussion constructively, in detail, as it was before", he said.
According to Mishustin, increasing the production of goods, the supply of which is blocked by sanctions, has become one of the most important current questions. The Prime Minister spoke about the allocation of 40 billion rubles for a program of concessional lending to industrial enterprises. The government will allocate more than 6.5 billion rubles for preferential leasing in mechanical engineering, and the Industrial Development Fund will be additionally capitalized. According to Mishustin, the country needs time to adapt to the price hike that arose due to problems with logistics.
