DOHA, Mar 31 The Congress of the International Football Federation (FIFA) did not consider the issue suspension of membership of the Russian Football Union (RFU) in the organization. The session of the FIFA Congress takes place on Thursday in Doha. Earlier it was reported that at the meeting a decision could be made to remove the RFU, since the congress agenda included issues of suspension or exclusion of the member association. FIFA and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) have published a joint statement according to which Russian teams and clubs have been suspended from participation in all international competitions for an indefinite period, and therefore on March 24 the semifinal meeting of the Russian team with the Polish team did not take place as part of the butt mini- tournament for the right to reach the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
