The meeting, which took place in Raleigh, ended with a score of 4:0 (2:0, 1:0, 1:0) in favor of the hosts. As part of the winners, the Russian striker Andrey Svechnikov scored a double (20th and 59th minutes), Sebastian Aho (4) and Teuvo Teräväinen (24) also scored goals.
