MOSCOW, April 2 Nizhny Novgorod players beat Rostov in match of the 23rd round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The meeting, held in Rostov-on-Don, ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the guests. The winners included Richlord Ennin (7th minute) and Dmitry Stotsky (45+1). Kirill Shchetinin (25) scored a goal for the hosts at his own expense. Nizhny Novgorod scored 27 points and climbed to the ninth line of the standings, Rostov is in 12th place with 22 points. In the next round, on April 9, Nizhny Novgorod will host Dynamo Moscow, a day later, Valery Karpin's team will play at home with Lokomotiv.
